Believe it or not the Stone Collector’s favourite pastime is collecting stones! And his Wife thoroughly enjoys making all sorts of things - pictures, cakes, shapes, you name it out of stones. Through playing and dramatic storytelling the characters stimulate the young audiences’ imagination. The Stone Collector plays a ukulele and his Wife a little harp and they have fun bringing stories alive and singing. The audience is encouraged to think, reason, question and fact find in a fun, exciting and interactive performance.

From the Desert to the Rainforest, from under the Sea to the South Pole it is a theatre, puppetry and animation experience for children aged 3 up. Set inside Mimika's portable theatre, a beautiful calico dome, Landscapes has been performed in Schools and Theatres throughout the UK and has been presented at Festivals in Spain, Denmark, Canada, the USA and SE Asia.

One day, one place, five stories. A bug, a goose, a fox, a cat and a six year old girl all see the sun rise - by the time it has set they have all entered a much bigger world. Set inside a beautiful calico dome, using digital animations, puppetry, miniature landscapes and an evocative soundtrack Small Worlds is a non-verbal exploration of the events of a single day as seen through the eyes of five very different creatures. Doors are opened to reveal a fantastical world where a wooden set becomes a riverbank, a tiny fox plays in a pop up meadow and a cat and a girl dream their stories. Small Worlds is a theatre, puppetry and animation experience for children aged 5 up.

Half Moon's new show for 2-5 year olds fuses Kathak dance with live jazz in an enchanting world created by illustrator Amberin Huq. The show features contemporary Kathak dance by Vipul Bhatti and live jazz trumpet by Sean Corby. Follow Adeel on his journey of discovery from summer into winter as he anticipates the coming of spring. After the performance, you can join Adeel and dance to the gentle jazz rhythms of the play. Half Moon will be in residence from 16 - 19 April developing When Spring Comes. Drop-in at 11.30am or 3.30pm to see the rehearsals in progress. Performances from Friday 20 - Sunday 22 April
